Ellie began her career in the trust industry in 2002. She gained 15 years’ experience working in the local fiduciary sector, mostly spent working for the trust arm of a highly reputable Canadian bank. In 2008 she completed her STEP diploma in a short 9 months from start to finish and keeps up to date with regular courses and reading materials. Ellie is also a Member of the Institute of Administrative Management.
Following the birth of her third child in 2015 Ellie left the commercial industry, later joining and subsequently acquiring FWS Ltd. The business has grown substantially under careful guidance and supervision. Ellie’s strong administration background and experience in managing large beneficial classes forged an ability to cultivate and shape ideas quickly, often under strict time pressures, taking into consideration a number of views, adapting accordingly to offer innovative solutions to fit the client.
Homelife is busy with a husband, 3 children, 1 dog and 5 chickens to cater for. She enjoys volunteer work, particularly around mental health awareness and children's wellbeing and is active on the boards of a number of local charities. If Ellie gets any downtime you might find her taking in Guernsey's coastal cliff paths or planning the family’s next adventure.
